I wanted the title of this blog to be something inspired by literature but still be "me." I was going through some literary terms in my head and fable stuck because I've always enjoyed reading fables. The Bible story Cain and Abel came to mind because fable rhymes with Abel. This was a good source of inspiration as I grew up reading Bible stories and the Bible is something I try to read everyday. I had to find something that rhymed with Cain so Jane was the obvious choice. Jane and Fable. It seemed too plain.. It just so happens that the love interest of one of my favorite characters from the series A Song of Fire and Ice by George R. R. Martin is named Jeyne. Perfect. There you have it. Jeyne and Fable!
